Maurizio Brancaleoni is a poet and artist. He received his M.A. in Language and Translation Studies from Sapienza University in Rome in 2018. While his literary output (poems, haiku, short stories, pastiches, translations) has appeared in a wide variety of journals and anthologies, to date his art has not gained as much attention, though a number of his drawings have been featured in a few print and online zines, most notably in the surrealist journal Peculiar Mormyrid.
